PINK PRINCESS PHONE

Hiiyaaaa friends!! Ahhh, I can’t believe how fast this this week is going by…guess time flies when you’re having fun. Since the start of the pandemic, I have rediscovered my love for talking on the phone (ya girl can talk for hours lol). Chatting on the phone has been so nice to reconnect with friends and family during these times. I personally LOVE a phone call or FaceTime call over a text any day, (please let me know I’m not the only one) since it feels more engaging than a text message. Of course, for the purpose of this post I had to break out my vintage pink princess phone!

Today’s outfit is such a classic prep look and I am obsessed with it! A sweater tossed over a button down is such a fun preppy layering style and is sooo practical if you get cold later on. This pink pinstripe Ralph Lauren button down is a must have in my wardrobe. I also have been loving the headband trend…this one is over the top sparkly!!

BACK TO SCHOOL

OUTFIT DETAILS: SHIRT | JEANS | SOCKS | SHOES | SCRUNCHIE

Hey hey hey! Oh my gosh, I can’t believe winter break is officially over and classes have started back up. I wanted to share a funny first day of school reality update with all of you! I’ve always dressed up on my first day of classes and entering my last semester of collage, I expected no less…but six online classes said otherwise (hahahaha :,-))! This is my first (and thankfully last) time taking 6 classes, 18 credit hours, and on the first day, I felt so overwhelmed I just wanted to stay extra comfortable (aka no makeup & an oversized hoodie).

What I was hoping to wear, was one of my favorite pink and yellow striped tops from J.Crew. I always love dressing up on the first day of class. I love shirts like this that are comfortable since; I’m a big believer if you wear something you are comfortable in, more likely you are going to feel confident in it. Of course, my Sperry Penny Loafers just scream back to school and are perfect for the occasion. I know with my upcoming Zoom class meetings I’ll be wearing more cute back to school outfits, so stay tuned!

CURRENTLY READING (JAN 2021)

OUTFIT DETAILS: TURTLENECK | SKIRT | WATCH | BRACELETS | NAILS

Hello! One of my goals for the new year is to read at least one book every month. I have always LOVED reading…I just don’t always make time for it. I decided it was time to make it a priority and recently started including it into my morning routine…talk about a game changer! I am currently reading two books (please tell me I’m not the only one who reads multiple books at the same time?!). I like reading two books because I’ll read one non-fiction and one fiction book…so I get the best of both worlds.

The non-fiction book I am currently reading is called “Influencer” by Brittany Hennessy. “Influencer” creates an interesting topic of the ins and outs of being (& becoming) a social media influencer. While my fiction book is called “Summer And The City” by Candace Bushnell. Ahhh I LOVE Candance Bushnell’s books, she is the author of Sex And The City….the book I am reading is part of her prequel series! I would love to hear about your favorite books or if you have any recommendations.

PINK POLO PERFUME

Hey there! Today I want to talk about one of my all time favorite perfumes. I think it’s so much fun to have a signature scent…a simple thing that makes you stand out. I have been wearing Ralph Lauren’s Big Pony Collection #2 perfume for what feels like forever now and still can’t get enough of it! I love how the scent is refreshing but not too overwhelming.

Of course, with my #45DaysOfPink Challenge going on I had to wear something pink! I love this Vineyard Vines long sleeve, it’s simple but a classic. My headband matches my shirt perfectly. Headbands are one of my new favorites and this one is so cute with the little pearls on it. Welcoming 2021 with PINK

Hi friends, Happy New Year! I hope you had an amazing start to the new year and had fun over the holidays. I decided to kick off the new year with my #45DaysOfPink challenge on Instagram. On January 1st, I was wearing this super cute sweatshirt from United Monograms. It has my monogram on it with a Champagne bottle that says “cheers”! Talk about perfect for New Years…especially since it’s pink!

If you guys have been following along for a while, you know pink is my favorite color is pink and that I LOVE Valentine’s Day (…if you didn’t know, now you know haha). I created my #45DaysOfPink challenge three years ago to help share pink outfits and spread positivity! Pink makes me feel so happy every time I wear it, so I want to share the feeling with my #45DaysOfPink challenge.
