Hiiyaaaa friends!! Ahhh, I can’t believe how fast this this week is going by…guess time flies when you’re having fun. Since the start of the pandemic, I have rediscovered my love for talking on the phone (ya girl can talk for hours lol). Chatting on the phone has been so nice to reconnect with friends and family during these times. I personally LOVE a phone call or FaceTime call over a text any day, (please let me know I’m not the only one) since it feels more engaging than a text message. Of course, for the purpose of this post I had to break out my vintage pink princess phone!

Today’s outfit is such a classic prep look and I am obsessed with it! A sweater tossed over a button down is such a fun preppy layering style and is sooo practical if you get cold later on. This pink pinstripe Ralph Lauren button down is a must have in my wardrobe. I also have been loving the headband trend…this one is over the top sparkly!!

Welcoming 2021 with PINK

Hi friends, Happy New Year! I hope you had an amazing start to the new year and had fun over the holidays. I decided to kick off the new year with my #45DaysOfPink challenge on Instagram. On January 1st, I was wearing this super cute sweatshirt from United Monograms. It has my monogram on it with a Champagne bottle that says “cheers”! Talk about perfect for New Years…especially since it’s pink!

If you guys have been following along for a while, you know pink is my favorite color is pink and that I LOVE Valentine’s Day (…if you didn’t know, now you know haha). I created my #45DaysOfPink challenge three years ago to help share pink outfits and spread positivity! Pink makes me feel so happy every time I wear it, so I want to share the feeling with my #45DaysOfPink challenge. I am wearing pink for 45 days from January 1st until Valentine’s Day (February 14th) and sharing all of my outfits on Instagram. 5 WAYS TO STYLE A SWEATER

Hi friends! Oh my gosh…happy Wednesday!! That might be a first, since I usually only post on Tuesday and Thursday…but today is a special day. Today, I am doing my first ever blog collaboration with my new friend, Molly! Ahhhhh- this is so crazy to me and I couldn’t be happier! I’ve been following Molly on Instagram @ gracefullygingham forever and we got talking and oh my gosh, y’all need to check her out (& her blog)!! We thought it would be fun to share 5 different ways to style a sweater for Fall. I am wearing the same sweater in all of these outfits and styled some of my favorite essentials to make 5 fun but easy-to-put together outfits, I hope you enjoy!

OUTFIT DETAILS: SWEATER (SIMILAR) | JEANS | BOOTS | WATCH

Eekksss, the first outfit is the most simple but you know what they say, “simple but effective”! I love wearing outfits like this, especially for transitioning into the Fall at the beginning of the season… or if you live somewhere a little warmer in the Fall. I just paired my favorite pair of skinny jeans from Abercombie and Fitch and this sweater together with a cute pair of booties.

This outfit turned out to be my new favorite (I’m even wearing it in this video) and it’s a completely new layering combination for me….who would have thought a turtleneck under a sweater would look so cute!? I LOVE IT!!! I can’t forget to mention, how perfect this layering combination will be for cold snowy days (…eeekkkss not going to think about the cold weather…yet haha).

Fall is the perfect season for wearing a vest and they look adorable with a sweater underneath. This outfit is very similar to the first one; but all you have to do is throw a vest on top (of course I wanted to switch up my shoes haha). I love how easy vest are to layer and they are so practical for transiting into the Fall since some days are colder than others.

If you know me, you might now this is my go-to Fall outfit. I have been obsessed with layering a flannel under a sweater since I got into the preppy style. I think it’s such a cute look and I love how the flannel (or button-down) you chose to wear underneath can make the sweater look totally different due to all the different color possibilities.

Like the last outfit, this outfit includes a flannel under my sweater…what can I say, I love the look of it! I mention in this video, 5 ways to style a sweater, how you can change any outfit by changing what style bottoms you are wearing. I swapped out my high rise skinny jeans for this adorable skirt from J.Crew and love how different the outfit looks.

CHEETAH PRINT AND STRIPES

Hi again! If you know me, you know how much I love mixing different prints and I love the look of mixing cheetah print and stripes together. I think mixing different prints together can make an ordinary outfit “POP”. This outfit is so simple, but that’s one of the many reasons I love it!

I love the look of a turtle neck tucked into high waisted jeans for Fall. My turtle neck is more fitted and is white with black stripes from Talbots. Every time I where this turtle neck I feel like I could be in New York working in the fashion world. I thought adding theses cheetah print loafers from VanEli would make this outfit “POP” a little more. Outfits like these are perfect for transitioning into Winter since you can just throw on a sweater or warm coat.

PUMPKIN PATCH DATE IN MY FAVORITE FALL DRESS

OUTFIT DETAILS: DRESS | BOOTS | WATCH | NECKLACE

Hello there! Oh my gosh, let’s talk about my new favorite Fall dress! This dress from Sailor-Sailor has been worn on repeat this season. Earlier this Fall, I shared a Fall bucket-list video on my YouTube and was so excited to go on a pumpkin patch date with my boyfriend, John! Turns out, we actually went to a Fall farm, which was just as much fun! The Fall farm had a sunflower field, pumpkin patches, hayrides, animals (eekksss see the baby goats?!) and lots of tasty Fall treats.

My dress is made of moisture wicking material which is so perfect for warmer Fall days or if you live where it’s pretty warm in the Fall. I think riding boots are a Fall essential and love styling them with dresses. These riding boots are some of my all time favorites. If you look closely on the last photo, I’m holding my Vlog camera since I vlogged going to the pumpkin patch if you want to watch on YouTube. It was such a fun Fall date idea and wearing the perfect outfit made it even better!
